Keeping Busy

Our first stop, after the post office, today was to our local coffee shop. I got a much needed Mocha and Robynn got Orange Juice which is a major treat.
Then Robynn and I walked across base to visit our cat. She is not allowed in the hotel with us, so we had to put her in the kennel. Poor Topaz was so happy to see us. They let us take her out and sit/ hold her for awhile which was nice. Robynn really enjoyed seeing her as well.
Then Robynn had fun running down this hill over and over again.
After that we stopped at a park on base that we had not been to yet. It's a nice playground, but the highlight for Robynn was the swing.
It's like a recliner chair! Robynn had a blast swinging on this for a long time.
The base food store is closed Sunday and Monday...something I did not realize until it was to late. So it was off to dinner in the town. We drove downtown Praia Da Vitoria and found a Mexican restaurant to eat at...go figure.

Across the street from where we ate was the beach, and we could see it from where we sat. After we ate, we took a stroll along the water.
Where to Robynn's delight we found another park.

It even had a climbing thing like the one at Fernandez Park back where we used to live. A little piece of home right here in the Azores.
