Stormy's

Stormy's is on base and pretty cool spot. I assume it got the name due to the fact that this is the place to take your tots when the weather turns bad. It's in indoor play area located underneath the base's gym. You enter directly across from the coffee shop. There is no listing for it on base, so it's just by word of mouth we heard about this place. It is a nice play area to go with young children. Plenty of toys, large open space, push toys, large balls, books, blocks, and a sitting area for mom's. Children can run around and play while parents can chat, drink their coffee, or read a book. After being without our stuff, and Robynn's toy's for so long, it was really nice to have this place to go to when we first arrived. Robynn was so happy, we ended up staying our first time for an hour and twenty minutes before she was ready to go. I let her control the time, and we did not leave until she was ready. I've been doing that a lot lately... whenever I can. If I don't have anywhere pressing to be, I let her decide how long we stay. I figure it's only fair, she has been super patient with all my deadlines, appointments, and moving details. Time to let her be able to control some aspect of her life. I figure we will frequent this place often. They are open all the time it seems. There was no hours posted on the door, but it seems that whenever the gym is open, Stormy's is as well.
