While visiting Nana, she put together a project for Robynn involving crayons. First step was to take off the wrapper and shave the crayons into pieces.
Robynn was an excellent helper, taking off the wrappers, while Nana grated up the crayon into fine pieces.
Next, Nana folded some sturdy water color paper in half and Robynn put the crayon bits inside.
Then Nana closed the paper and ironed. Word of advice, if you every want to use the iron again for non craft items make sure you lay down a rag, you don't care about, over the paper and iron. This will help protect the iron from getting crayon on it.
Once ironed, Nana opened it up to show Robynn the design she created. Boy, Robynn sure loved this project. She made so many pictures that we ended up making a book out of them.
I simple took a whole punch and put two holes in the crease. Then with Robynn's plastic sewing needle, she helped thread yarn through the holes and tied.
