Pool opening

Yesterday, it was as hot as any summer day in this area. So, it was with a sigh of happiness that the pool opened the same day. Robynn and I headed off in search of some relief in the cool water.

The pool is solar heated. Usually opening day it's super cold, and takes a lot of will power to swim. It's been pretty warm the last few days though, and so I was surprised to find the water very refreshing and just the right temp.

Robynn is a little fish and loves the water. She was totally in bliss splashing and playing.

Yesterday, the temp was 84! I can hardly believe it! The house got up to 89. Our house does not have central air, so I'm really thankful for our little portable air unit; we can keep a room cool as a sanctuary. We made the best of the heat and had a good time.
